Can anyone tell me which model Ididit tilt column is the correct (or best) fit for a '56 Olds Super 88 sedan?

Probably your best bet would be to ask Ididit if no one replies here. They do this for a living and should be exposed to most all conversions.... Tedd

Unlike the 54 and 55, I think the 56 had a rag joint which might make this possible. I would be surprised if they have a column that can be used. The shirt indicator will be a big problem. As Tedd mentioned, call ididit. Flaming River is another company that makes steering columns but they list nothing for Oldsmobiles.
