56 Olds 2bbl to 4 bbl swap

56 Olds 2bbl to 4 bbl swap
hey guys-
wondering is anyone has swapped intakes on a 56? So far I have a stock 4 bbl intake and carb out of a 56, gaskets, vac & fuel lines, and carb spacer.
Questions:
1. Is the valley pan the same on both?
2. Will carb linkage match up?

The valley pan (a.k.a. cylinder block top cover) should be the same. The parts book says some of the linkage is different between 2bbl & 4bbl. I got mine from the same donor car as the manifold. 7007221 should be your carb model for the auto trans.
