55 Fuel Line Fitting

When I got my car the previous owner had cut the hard line off back from the bracket on the front cross member that connects to the rubber fuel hose. I need to find out what this fitting looks like. Any one have any pictures of this fitting or know where I can get one?

Sorry, I tried to get a picture of the fitting ,but was unable to do so ! Maybe someone has a car with the front end off ,then it would be easy to get a picture. All I could tell it looked like a "L " bracket that the rubber line and hard line connected through. Larry

1953 88 I think the same or close as your '55. There is large flat square
clip the same as is seen on brake line attachment under the bracket which retains the hose to bracket. The fuel line is just a double flare on steel line.

That does look just like the one on a '55. I just could not get a picture of it with everything else in the way. Larry

Yes, that picture is correct for the '55. Too much old grease and road dirt on mine.
