47 Coupe

I have tried several times removing the Radio out of the 47 Coupe without success. I even tried to remove the glove box and slide the radio along to the glove box area then remove it. Has anyone had success without taking the complete car apart to get the radio out. Thanks 47 Coupe

My dash is out of the 48 so I can't even look at the problem. But my thoughts are that you have to remove the outside vent control handle, hardware and maybe even the vent itself.

Here is a copy from the '49 FSM showing installation diagrams of the radio. I believe it shows all the attaching hardware. This is courtesy of our member 88coupe.
