I have a question on the center mount on the flat windshield install. I have an '46 that is sheduled to paint tomorrow so I will be at the stage to install the windshield shortly.

I bought the car as a basket case and I am wondering if I am missing a piece. I have a trim cover and a bar with holes that I assume is for the interior as it has an extra hole for the rear view mirror. I assume I am missing an outer bar to secure the window seal to the center roof support and interior bar.
I have the reproduction book for the interior work but the pictures are very dark and show no detail.

Is there an outer bar with bolts, or with attached nuts to accept screws from the interior?

Solved, on closer inspection of the roof support bracket is threaded.
