Best TH 400 Shift Kit
What is the best shift kit for a TH 400? The engine has 10:1 KB 277 pistons, a ***** Thumper cam (~.500" lift) and will be driven (hard but not raced) on the street.

I have the Trans-go kit with the competition shifts and quasi-manual valve body...I love it! And it was easy to install...I did it when I was 19, and I'm 32 now...still going strong in my silver car behind a 500 hp / 550 tq 455.

I used Transgo with great success also. The TCI, B&M, etc. tend to be more simplistic and probably less thought out than the Transgo kit. Not to say they are bad because I've had success with them also but I do prefer Transgo. Transgo will be more pricey but you get what you pay for.
