Cooler line routing

I decided to bend my own trans cooler lines for my 64 F-85 pro touring build. Most of the cooler lines should have the same bends getting around the oil filter and staying away from the exhaust. I need a picture or a diagram a least to give me an idea. I have the assembly manual for my 67 and it does not show the lines. It may have disappeared over the years. Thanks.

Cooler lines

I just did that last weekend and what I did was wing it. I was surprised but I got it done and it looks OK - I had an assemble manual and I changed from my jetaway from my 65 442 to a 2004r, so the lines were somewhat simular. I started from the radiator and worked back. When I got by the exaust and oil filter I just hand bent them carefully around it. Then I eye balled the connections and used my bender and got them correct. All on my back laying on the creeper. You can tell however I was not a professional but they work and really don't look that bad. Just take your time and be carefull.

Rob just bend some coat hanger to the routing that clears and looks the best. Copy you bends in the line.

X2 that's always been my method and I use the hangers over and over again for other uses as well (hangers for painting small parts)

2nd question

Does the top trans line run to the drivers side on a 64-65 down flow radiator? This is for a 200R4, attached is the picture you can barley make out of the lines to the Jetaway.
