Different in Jetaway

Is there any different in 1964 Cutlass Jetaway and 1965 Cutlass Jetaway transmission?

As far as fitting one in place of the other , no . They will interchange . According to the Hollander .
There probably were many small differences in shift points , etc , between various transmissions that were teamed with different engines . .
Also 1965 442 models had a different Jetaway .

Thanks! Charlie, did they use the same solenoid on the side of the transmission?

By "solenoid " do you mean the modulator ?



If so, the answer is probably not . there were many modulators used in '64 & '65 .

A friend gave me 1964 Oldsmobile Service Manual number 1,2, and 3, today, he bought at an auction. Here the photo I was looking for. Thanks for help Charlie!

Ok , I see what you're looking for .
It's called a connector . It connects to the wiring harness and the valve body inside the trans .
It looks like if both transmissions are V-8 then they will swap .
