Split 394 from tranny??

So I stripped down the 63 Starfire I have. All the is basically left is the frame, engine and trans. Looking for tips or thoughts on how to split and lift engine out without damaging the oil pan.
Thanks guys

Block the motor up under the flywheel housing . Not the pan .
Remove the rear motor mounts and all the bolts that hold engine to trans .
Then it just slides out .

That looks like a pretty good frame . Are you going to save it ?

Yes to this.

You will have a problem separating the engine from the trans if you can't get it unstuck so do your best to get it lose. The flywheel/ flexplate will need to be rotated to get to all the bolts and you can't if it's stuck..... Tedd
