New Solenoid, torque converter still not locking up on my TH350C

Well, the whole point of this trans was for the lock up torque converter. New solenoid and 12 volts to it. Could it be the pressure switch?

Without a wiring diagram to study it’s hard to tell how to diagnose the pressure switch. Some are normally open and provide a ground when pressurized, others remove a ground under pressure. Remove the switch, use some compressed air to test the switch.

I should be able to bypass the pressure switch, can't I? Especially since I am running a toggle switch for now. It is a two contact pressure switch, pretty sure power goes in, orange wire and grounds through it, black wire. I have to pull the pan anyways to fix the leaking dipstick tube so I will make sure I have power to the pressure switch with a meter. If I do, I will hook the two wires together and bypass the pressure switch. If it works, I will buy the TCI lock up kit eventually, it works well and is adjustable.

Had to fix my leaking dipstick tube. I should have pushed the seal in first, it pushed up past the ridge on the tube, didn't seat far enough. I put the seal in first, then the tube, both coated in the right stuff. I dropped the pan, 12 volts sitting at the pressure switch, on the black terminal. It must switch to the orange one the switch grounds or opens and the wire goes to a second switch. I bypassed the first switch, hooked to wires together, toggle switch activated anyways, will test today.

Leak sealed, still no lock up. Hard to say what is going on, a T-5 sounds good to me.
