TH350 rebuild shop in Connecticut

I have a 1971 Cutlass Supreme with a TH350 that needs a rebuild. I'm looking for a transmission shop recommdation in Connecticut. I'll be removing the tranny and bringing it to the shop.

Thanks

I can't help w a shop recommendation, but if you post your city that may help if someone in a nearby state is close to your location. I.e. Rhode Island Mass or New York.

I'm in the Middletown area of Connecticut. I'm happy to travel to Rhode Island, Mass, or NY if there is a known good shop; - quality work, reasonable rates, etc.

It is a th350, any long standing shop should have no problem rebuilding it, Ask your local mom and pop service place where they take transmissions to..
For the tchs rebuilding transmissions today a th350 is a cake walk.

Portland Transmission is near you, just on the other side of the bridge on a side road. In Bristol on the same side as the amusement park right near the park, I forget there name. Eastern Trans in Hartford. In Glastonbury Basals. All those will do you good. I'm an adjuster and have had good luck with all of them. If I think a minute I could probably name a bunch more but that should keep you busy. If you have somebody in mind, shoot me a message and I'll give you my 2 cents on them

Before you bring it to them you might want to share what your running for an engine, cam size especially, rear gears and tire height so you can figure on what kind of converter, stock or say a 11 or 12 inch with the proper stall speed for your application.
