Speedo Gear Questions

Hi All,

I put 3.73s in my car a while ago and I've been driving with an inaccurate speedo since then. Don't worry, I had my dad help me out and figured out how fast I was going so I don't speed everywhere or hold up traffic. Does anyone know what the stock drive gear number is for a TH350? The car had 2.56's in it stock, if that helps.

As always, any and all info is greatly appreciated!

Two different cars. My rear end swaps were different but I went to a speedometer shop. They installed adapters. Cost was reasonable.

I'm unsure what "stock drive gear number" means. Is that the number of teeth on the speedometer driven gear; or is that the GM part number for the driven gear. The speedometer drive gear will likely remain unchanged. Tire sizes also matter. Since you are in a major metropolitan area, I'll take the easy route and advise you to seek the advice of someone in the speedometer business.

@Ozzie, I mean the number of teeth. It's a 26" tire, too. @1969w3155, thanks, I'll give them a try
