Turbo 400
I have always been a big fan of the GM Turbo 400 and I was what modifications are necessary to replace the Jetaway transmission in my 67 F85 with the 330 engine with the TH 400.. I have read that the TH 350 conversion is fairly simple.
Thanks to all.

You would be better off going with the TH350 swap. The TH350 uses less HP and it will hold up just fine to the 330 engine. If you go to the TH400 you will need a shorter drive shaft and the bigger yoke.

He can use a stock carb with a t350, there are aftermarket cable kits. To answer the t400 question, you'll need to move xmember back to the rear holes, you'll need a new drive shaft, your current kick down switch on the linkage can be used, and the ebrake intermediate cable will nee to be changed. The shifter linkage can be used and will work fine as is, however the indicator will be a bit off from 1st thru drive. You will need a new torque convertor for either trans.
