Hey guys,

I have a 1985 Olds Delta 88 Royale Brougham, it has the 307-4spd auto and the transmission is giving me all kinds of trouble. The car drives fine untill the drivetrain gets up to operating temperature, then it will start shifting all funny. The problem is as fallows, after the drivetrain gets hot when accelerating it will grab the next gear way too soon and bog down, then when you decelerate it will hold on to the higher gears way too long which causes a harsh shudder as if decelerating in a manual trans car without downshifting..

I have done a tranny flush, added Lucas Stop Slip & replaced the tranny filter, none of that made a difference at all. I've been told I'm infact experiencing a transmission solenoid issue, but I dont know what solenoid to order from the parts house, can someone please let me know what the part is called?
