Shift linkage adjustment

I just had my 69 442 4 speed (M 20) floor shift trans rebuilt and I'm having a hard time getting the linkage adjusted. It does not want to come out of reverse and into neutral. Seems to shift from reverse into 1st gear but no go into neutral, 2nd ,3rd or 4th. I have installed new nylon bushings and safety lock clips in all linkages and have no binding of the linkages that I can find. Pretty sure that the problem is in the linkage adjustment, but which linkage and which way to adjust it.
CSM is very limited for info.
Is their any alignment pin for locating all linkage adjustment?
Any help figuring out what my issue is will be greatly appreciated.
