1974 Hurst posi?

I'm thinking of buying a 74 hurst parts car, it has no motor or trans. My Question did all 74 hurst with 455, come with posi? I would like to put that rear end in my 73 442, that is a non posi.

I don't know the answer to your question, but many years ago I got the rear out of a '75 HO and it had a posi... with 2.56 gears.

Why install a wore out 40 year old differential? Just add Posi and gears of your choice to your current diff. Do it once and do it right.

I agree with Dave, I would give a shout out to Monzaz (Jim) here. I purchased the posi unit, gears, and install kit from him a couple years back.
No problems great results in our cars.
He beat everyone out with his prices, he offers us guys great prices along with tech support.
Good luck with your decisions .

I had Bob (Heavy Hauler wagon) at Rocket Racing build me a rear end for my 75 442. Great guy and very knowledgeable!
