Posi unit ID please

Well as in the previous thread I found out that I had a open differential. So I found what was said is a BOP posi unit for a good price. Got it yesterday and looks great except....... there are 12 bolts for the ring gear. Now I am confused. No C clip grooves for axels and it is set up for 31 spline axel shafts. Cast in it is 700. Is this a flyer marked 12 bolt built for. BOP axels or do I heave a pos on my hands? The ring gear measures I think 8 3/8 but bearing kinda gets in the way could be 8 1/2. Matt

Well with 12 ring gear bolts it is not gonna fit any A-Body BOP rear that I'm familiar with.

That’s one big thing I needed to know. I think I found out but not sure that this is a 66 to 70 Delta 88 rear carrier. Could that be possible?
