Hydro matic Shifting

Yea Gidday from NZ
Any Hydro matic gurus 🤔🤔🤔 58 olds 371cu in , 4 barrel holley. Speed limits are a bit slower here 55mph so the trans is not shifting into top 🤓🤓 is there anyway to make this happen please, I feel that with the holley the throttle position would be different from the original , so what do I adjust please🤔🤔🤔

Does it shift correctly through all the rest of the gears? It could be (probably) the Holly has the linkage out of adjustment, you might try lengthen or shorting the carb to transmission rod adjuster just little at a time. This adjustment puts the selector in the proper place so it isn't searching for a gear in the wrong area. Too much and you will start missing gears or jumping into the wrong gear to early or late....
