I had my TH-400 rebuilt, and I was wandering if anybody knows how to flush the ATF from the cooling lines. the lines go into the radiator then back to the tranny. Can I just put the air hose up to the line and all the fluid will blow out. Any help is appreciated.

You can buy transmission cooler flush in a can at NAAP or other good parts stores Hook up to cooler lines. The can is pressurized and will flush out old fluid. I have used this before and works well.

X2. The aerosol can looks like this. You screw the hose fitting to one of the cooler lines from the transmission end and the flushed material comes out the other one. Be sure to use a section of hose to direct the outlet into a catch can. I use compressed air afterwards to get all the flush solution out.
