'69 Jetaway detent Solenoid repacement
Hello All,
The tranny does not kickdown. I have replaced and adjusted the pedal switch and confirm voltage to the case connector on the side of the tranny at WOT. Can only assume, therefore, that the solenoid is bad. Part was cheap enough so I'm waiting on it before even pulling the pan and doing an inspection. Have no experience in this department. Can anyone walk me through it ?
THanks,

Certainly not possible with the way MY luck runs...
With my luck, the problem would be caused by some sort of manufacturing flaw in the trans case casting that resulted in a cascade failure requiring replacement of the entire drivetrain.
