You have no choice. The only T-fluid you can find for these cars nowadays is called "Dex/Merc," and if you read the fine print on the container, it says that it is for use with GM cars made before 2006. In any event, put this in your transmission, and you'll be fine. It's called "Dex/Merc" regardless of brand.
Dex/Merc fluid is certainly the type to use .
But , if you don't know when ( or even IF ) the fluid has been changed . Then it would be a good idea to change the fluid and install a new filter .

That's an interesting site. Strange that it's not readilly available, when looking up parts through the usual search engines. The brand I'm working on isn't listed and I don't know if they'll ship the pan gasket to Germany which resembles one from a transmission of another brand. In which case, I'll either go out and get a sheet of cork or I'll do what another forum recommended which was to go goop:
The engine oilpan left the factory siliconed. The manual, however, says to use a gasket on the transmission pan. If they didn't want it glued on, they must have had a good reason for telling everyone that
