200-4R will not down shift to 1st gear
I recently rebuilt my first 200-4r transmission. I put approximately 100 miles on the transmission and everything worked just fine. I took the car on a 160 mile trip through the country. It shifted fine the whole way except I did notice the last stop I made before it stopped down shifting it made a funny sounding click when I put it in park. Every since then it has not been downshifting when I come to a stop. Trans is from a 87 Monte Carlo SS (CZ) with a Transgo HD2 shift kit, all hardened internals, D5 torque converter, xtra wide band, Alto read eagle clutches, extra 4th gear clutch, Mobil 1 synethic transmission fluid, and roller bearing kit. The transmission will start out in first and shift just fine if you shift to neutral at a stop sign. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

TV Cable adjustment is the culprit of most transmission shifting problems.
Verify your pressures by adjusting it at idle and WOT.
Chris @ CK performance is the man on the Turbo Buick forums for this trans.
That's who I am sourcing my parts from.
I've purchased a Stage II 700R4 from him before.
FYI too, he sells a 200 page 2004R booklet for performance mods with TONs of pics.
It's being reprinted this week with new additions.
