66 toro a/c
QUESTION---I want to replace the A/C filter dryer on my Toro. Tried taking the panels off in front of radiator. No luck. Has any one rebuilt the A/c system
on a 66 Toro? Can some one tell me how to get it out? It appears to be a big project to get at the dryer. Thanks ED

Dryer on '66 Toronado
Hi,
I just got the AC system in my 66 working. I rebuilt the A6 AC Compressor, had new hoses built and changed the dryer. It is accessible through the front grill. Just remove the trim piece and then, with access to the grill bolts, remove the grill. Some 4 screws on top, two bolts each side plus two in the middle. Then with the lights in the "up" position you have access to the dryer. It is secured to the condensor with two sheetmetal screws.
It's not the nicest task to tackle but managable.
