Recommended shocks for '84?

New to me '84. Shocks were replaced 35k ago with Monroe's. The car pogos like crazy over freeway bumps.

Does anyone have preference for these cars that will better control the front end?

Thanks,
David

I always like KYB's. To me, Monroe's are too soft for a front wheel drive car.

Is it fair to blame the Monroe brand for this? After 35,000 miles, it's likely any shock could exhibit this behavior and need replacing.

KYBs FTW...had them on an 06 CVPI used as a taxi...drove the crap out of it and 60k later still held the road like it was on rails.

KYBs are on it now. The front end bobbing is gone. Drives great!
