Ed, I'm used to seeing numbers that have seven digits, the one you posted only has six. I'm pretty sure I've got a good core needing rebuilt up in Oregon. If that would work for you I'll dig it out and take some pictures. John

Here's a reference that shows the 7027130 as correct for the 1967 Toronado with California Emissions (A.I.R)

OK, the last reference was the Toronado club so I think that's probably correct. I don't know anything about this reference, but they show the 7036254 as a 330 carb.

You got me thinking about carbs now Ed!

Here's another option. It's number is also listed on the Toronado page.

2blu442 Thanks for your help. the 703 carb was on the car wen I got it and was told only an Olds dealer worked on it. I bought a parts car out of ca. and it has the 702# which is a smog carb I guess. They are both buildable because they were on running cars. whats the difference when putting a smog carb on a non smog car. Big deal or no.

Ed, I don't know what the difference would be. Maybe someone else will speak up but I'm thinking for normal driving around it should work. For a maximum performance build it might make a difference. I've had several engines with these setups on them, but I'd have to go look at one to see where all the tubes and hoses come and go. I believe they were trying to burn the exhaust fumes again much like the newer cars with smog pumps. So the carb may be jetted for that, but I don't know if that would make the car run rich or lean without the AIR setup on it. That might be worth a new post to ask that question. John
