Found All Original 1967 Toronado

I have a possible lead on an original 1967 Toronado w/138k. White w/black vinyl top. My son has inspected the car and it has virtually no rust. (minor surface along botton of door edges). Car has been covered, but shows it's age. Not running; could be as simple as bad gas. Everything on the car looks original, engine, wheels, upholstery was re-done according to original owner several years ago.

The front fender has minor damage, but can be saved IMO. The rest of the body and lines look excellent. My son found it, during an insurance claim investigation. The owner just wants it "gone" and his plans are to let it go to a salvage yard or auto broker.

If anyone has interest in the car, let me know. I'm working on getting the buyer to sell it to me and I will likely flat bed it to a storage area and get it running. I am not looking to make profit on this; I just can't stand to see such a vintage automobile go to waste. I have too many projects going on right now and as much as I love the Toronado body style, just don't have time or money to get involved with this one.

I can send a few pictures upon request.

Would you consider selling me the carburetor alone? I have a 66 Toro and it's just sitting right now. I'm having a hard time looking for one. Cheers Kevin

If you need a carb for a toronado or any Olds for that matter Google "Sparky's Carburetor". He is a Toronado expert, and is a Quadrajet master. He also has everything to make the switch pitch transition work.

Shoot me a PM or email; I have an original '66 carb from a '66 425 Starfire, should be same number as Toronado (7026250), I understand the linkage is a bit different, due to the cable throttle control , but, if you have an original Toronado carb, you should be able to swap linkages, as they bolt on, I believe.
