8-Track Removal

8-Track Removal
I have a '72 Cutlass. I'm trying to remove the AM/FM radio, but the car has an 8-track factory tape player in it. It looks like I have to take out the 8-track to get to the radio. There are two nuts that I can't get to. they are show on the attached picture.
Does anyone have a solution short of a half stick of TNT?

Prob help a lil if you had the console out - I have mine out and there quite a bit more room to move around under there....Im planning to respray the lower dash and am contemplating removing my 8 Track or taping it up...

You probably also have AC. That means you would need to remove the 2 halves of the lower shroud to get the easiest access to those nuts. Once you get to that stage though, it should be easy. My car doesn't have AC or console, so working under the dash is relatively easy.
