Fuel vapor line or return line on my 72 supreme?
Ok, so if my 350 1972 cutlass originally had two fuel lines on the passenger side, and a charcoal canister in the engine bay, then i need to purchase the main fuel line and the vapor line? Just want to make sure I dont need a fuel return line.
Thanks!

Inline tube shows a return line main, fuel line, and vapor return line. My 72 supreme is a mid to late 72 May 6th 72 build maybe earlier ones have a fuel return line. I am the second owner and have had the car since 94.The car has never been apart till now and was all original except for the paint that I did in 95.. I just pulled the engine out today and I don't have a fuel return line. main fuel line and vapor line on right frame rail. vapor line goes to the charcoal canister and fuel line goes to pump. I have a three vent gas tank with the vent lines that have the vapor canister behind the rear seat. but no fuel return line.
Here's the link to the inline tube site

People often confuse the evap (vapor) line with the fuel return line. They are not the same thing. ALL 1972 Oldsmobiles used a main fuel line to the fuel pump and an evap line that went to the charcoal canister. Cars that typically had high underhood temps (BBO cars with HP motors or A/C or HD cooling) also got the fuel return line that went to the pump. The fuel return line connects to a second line on the gas tank sender. The evap line connects to the vents in the corners of the tank.
