Valve geometry question

I am changing my intake manifold today. I was looking at the push rods while I have the intake off. I can rotate the push rods on all the cylinders except the cylinders with the valves in the open position. Is this normal or a sign the valve is to tight. I used stock pushrods on this engine with a comp 268h cam that has .477/.480 lift.

The valves that are closed should still have a little drag on them when you rotate them with your fingertips. If they are loose then your short on preload.

The push rods tat are on the vales that are open have a load on them, the ones that are not only have a preload. What your seeing is normal.

That's what I thought but wanted to verify while I am in there. Yes all have preload so I think I am good. Thanks for the input.....
