All 403 cranks drilled to accept 4-speed input shaft?

Or is this internet BS? I have a good 403, 2 sets of #7 heads, a Mondello auto/manual "bushing" and all the 4-speed parts.

Thanks, Steve

403 crank

every 403 crank that I have ever owned was drilled. Odd since no 403 ever came with a factory manual trans option.
