Alternator mounting

I'm running an 76 olds 350 in one of my projects.
I have the alternator, and the attaching bracket, but no power steering pump.
Any way to run just the alternator?
Anyone have an aftermarket bracket of some sort?
Thanks.

There are pumps on ebay all the time. Let's see what we can dig up.

If you just want to run an alternator, and no pump......you will need to find a 68-70 alternator bracket from a car that came with AC.

Thanks for the info.
Any pics of the bracket/ hardware would be great.
I only have the actual c shaped bracket...no other hardware.

Olds made lots of cars with out power steering and only an alternator. What's the problem? Just run the alternator by itself with the correct belt. The PS pump is unrelated.

I'm not sure I'm reading you right, are you needing the Alternator bracket?
When you said you have a C shaped bracket. Is this what you have?

If so, then this is what you need to complete it. J, do you have one?

There are a couple different brackets used over the years for both AC and Non-AC cars. If your car has an AC compressor then you'll need one of the setups on the drivers side. The passengerside alternator bracket can be used if you don't have AC.

If you wanted to add power steering here's a pump with the three pieces of brackets that you would need. If it would help I can get pictures of each of the three pieces. John
