Offy intake?
OK First off forgive me but I cannot spell the correct word but I think everybody will know what I'm talking about when I say Offy 360
With that said, a guy about 50 miles from me has an Offy 360 for sale with 2 Carter AFB carbs, 500 CFM (edelbrock carbs IIRC).
Will this be too much for my 330 build. Right now pretty much stock. I MIGHT pull the heads and get a valve job so I can run unleaded with no problems.
Goingto have headers, roller rockers, 6 quart oil pan, and some kind of aftermarket intake.
Or Should I just stick with a Edelbrock 3711 or 7111 and a 650 carb?
10.25:1 310hp/360ftlbs 330 motor

Well my buddy recently dyno tested his new street motor. First he ran a ported torquer. And then the 360 with 600 edelbrocks. The 360 had more low end torque and a flatter torque curve. His engine builder didnt even want to test it. But he really wanted to see what it would do. He said when he had it on his last motor it had more low end torque then any other intake, and that it was a great intake on the street. The ported torquer did produce more hp and torque on the high end. But the 360 performed very well.

Heres a video clip of it on the dyno
At the end Kevin (the dyno guy) tries to get it to bogg with the dual quad by running it at low rpms, but cant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55MGZ...eature=related
