1985 Monte Carlo SS

So have my new project it’s a 1985 Monte Carlo Ss. I have a 350 rocket motor and 700r4 transmission. I’m looking in what ways to add more power to it. an I need a suggestion on what cam will be best with my motor and headers. This car will be for the drag strip and once awhile driving around.

What year 350? Why not build the stock 2004R, better gear ratios, already has a higher stall and a performance calibration with 5500 rpm shift points. Also the stock 26 spline 7 5/8" rear end is only a slight upgrade from the other garbage 7.5" rear ends, neither will last long term with slicks.
