I could lay rubber for a 1/4 of a block with a 2300 stall in a 2004R, it is going back in.
yeah transmission and gearing won’t be done this year, I go off to college in 10 days but yeah I’ll definitely upgrade those. Wow and that’s with the 403?

No, those 2321's are the better choice of the two. No the motor I mention is my Olds 350, pulls hard except off the line, it pulled very hard with a 2300 stall but my daughter cooked it. Do yourself a favor and buy the $100 Jeggs brand 2300 stall TH350 converter before you install your motor.

Yes, TH350 and TH400. It is actually 2000 to 2300 stall, depending on your torque output. You need to get in your cams power band or your launch will be very weak.

Wow hey that is pretty cheap! Yeah definitely will consider getting Jegs brand. It will have to wait because I have yet to start rebuilding my trans, this project is just moseying along, in no big rush.

I run that same converter in my olds powered Pontiac with a sniper EFI setup. With a 3.08 gear and it being a small land yacht it slips a bit more than I would like. works really nice same trans bing in use was in my olds with a 3500 stall so im not worried about that little extra slip. For the money its a good unit. IM upset the converter company I bought my 10 in. 2800 stall from went under. we dubbed it the mystery converter. It worked well for the 200 bucks.
