My Daughter to my 70S for a small drive
Found this on #2.
The other push rod was shoved down. I used a magnet and pulled it out the other push rod, no end. Pulling the intake next.

Pulled the intake, removed #2 lifters and rotated by hand. The lobes aren't flat and the lifters look good on both ends. I will put back together this week. I am going back to stock rocker arms for now.

Well, all back together and runs and sounds the best it has since going together with the new heads and cam. I hear 0 valve ticks just an exhaust leak at the cracked header tube. Of course I had to switch one rocker out and one bridge to get proper preload on all the valves. Also still no lock up despite direct wiring, either it was blocked off or converted. It could also be the torque converter itself.

Isnt there clearance issues with the 1.72 rockers where the heads have to get clearanced ? I ran into issues getring proper geometry with the ford rockers the correct length was hitting and that was with a 1.6 i endes uo running thw ahortest pushrod i could. Pattern was a little off center but thin and didnt move.
