Yes the aero chambers have been on the olds for 9 years now. With the new engine it needs a a good set of mufflers. On the engine running stand it was still rowdy loud with cheap turbo mufflers.

I am planning to install a Sniper system this weekend on our 71 Cutlass.

Currently have a stock 350 with stock 4 barrel manifold. Any suggestions on where to install the coolant temperature sensor on the Olds engine? Thanks in advance.

I installed mine on the i take manifold. I have an edelbrock so it has multiple provisions. I kept my mechanical gauge as well.

I know this is thread resurrection, but I thought I would add your video.

Excellent review.

You mentioned in the video that the Holley Sniper uses a VW O2 sensor and a Dodge IAC. Do you happen to have those part numbers? I actually wondered if these aftermarket EFI systems used some OE replacement parts.

Thank you. I do not have the part numbers. The 02 sensors where given to me by my coworker. They came off of his 08 audi RS4 I don't know if they are upstream or downstream. In that application they are coded by the connector. One being a brown connector and one black. The difference is one has a guide tab in the plug. I wish I could provide the part numbers but.... haven't had any more issues. I was told the IAC was from a 5.9 dodge early 2000's I wanna say.

90% of the throttle bodies out there use a GM/Chrysler IAC. It’s a flat 4 pin style, available just about anywhere.
As far as the O2 goes, using just any brand leaves you open for discrepancy. Although an O2 should really only be used as a reference, some guys take them as bible, and when they’re not calibrated together with the ecu, bad info can be the result.

Grab an IAC from a 5.2 or 5.9 Magnum from the wrecking yard. I changed one on the 3.9 but it was more the issue when the battery ran low the ECM forgot how to idle. The one on my 5.9 has been flawless.

As far as the O2 sensor goes. The readings got better imo . the part number on the Holley EFI supplied o2 was the same number as the VW with the exception of....... The VW logo and bosch logo along with a code designating then up stream or down stream along with a color coded and specific guided plug. I'm still a but of a dummy with this stuff but if anything the car ran better knce I swapped the o2 sensor and went through the whole learning process of the ecu again.

The big difference between the 2 o2 sensors was one quality of wire ( casing seemed thicker) probably same gauge wire but casing wad thicker) the o2 sensor its self weighed more and the body felt like it had more girth to it. Like I mentioned im positive what VW gets from Bosch is superior to what Holley is supplied. Just a guess on my end but it makes sense.

Bosch 17025 is the replacement O2 sensor.

TPS is AC Delco 213-898 or Duralast TPS136, just had to replace mine in the AutoZone parking lot while on Power Tour.

I had problems with local parts stores getting that sensor for some reason. It was a few hours before we headed out on a long trip. I did some research and read somewhere that VW has the same sensor so that's where I called my co worker and he had some lying around and we where back in business for free lol. I got lucky but so far its been holding up good. My buddy's audi on the other hand keeps throwing lean codes.

Thanks for those parts numbers sir. I'm sure it will help out some folks.

BTW Coppercutlass, you mentioned that you used the Walbro in-line fuel pump. How do you like it? I've read that folks say it's noisy.

If you have an exhaust with any rumble you will only hear it on start up when you prime the system. No complaints on the fuel pump being noisey.
