Snapped throttle cable

Hey guys,

My Saturday morning drive turned into some roadside rigging. I noticed the throttle stuck once or twice and I had to tap the pedal to free it. After a few miles I was turning a corner and lost all throttle. The cable had snapped right at the barrel connector on the carb. I was able to jam a few strands of the cable back in and tighten it down to get home but it will need to be replaced. My question is what length cable do I need? I have an aftermarket carb so an original cable isn't needed. I was looking at this universal kit.

I used the same cable. It can be trimmed to length so it should work with most applications. I have an edlebrock carb on mine.
