wingbat engine help

Does anybody know if the 69 Olds Cutlass Coupe engine will bolt up to my 66 Cutlass Convt.? If it will not bolt up, what modifications do I have to do?

Of course, this is only important if the new engine came from an AT car and is going into an MT car. Otherwise it's not an issue. One thing to be aware of is that 1964-67 Olds motors used a different crank flange bolt pattern than did the 68-90 motors. Use the flywheel/flexplate that matches the year of the engine. The other thing is to use the water pump/pulleys/accessory brackets as a matched set. You really want to transfer these parts as a matched set from the old motor to the new one.
