330 exhaust leak
Thanks, Joe, I know they are what they are and I do have a second set not sure if they are any better. Any fix to what I have now? Ultra hi temp sealer would be nice.

I had the manifolds for my 67 Delta machined and one still leaks. I've never had this problem before in 40 years of building these cars. I got some Remflex exhaust gaskets to use when I drop in the new motor this weekend.

67 330 exhaust
This is fresh rebuild, using the original manifolds with new dual exhaust system.
Are manifolds from a 350 Olds engine the same?
Could headers (as a last resort) from a 350 be used?

You may need to loosen the flanges and reseat the pipes or the flared ends are not correct on the pipes. You can also use an exhaust putty if the ends of the manifolds are badly pitted. Are you sure its the ends as sometimes over tightening the center bolt will twist the manifold at the center ports and leak there.
I've had good luck with Yale Muffler Cement, just coat the joint and quickly tighten. Its good to 1200 degrees and hardens solid.

If the car your asking about putting sbo headers in is a 67, no they won't fit.

Walker Acousti/Seal, P/N 35959. Available at NAPA, RockAuto, etc. Also, inspect the bolt flange that holds the pipe against the manifold. I've seen many of these bent by gorillas overtightening the nuts on the studs. Once that happens, the areas 90 degrees around from the studs doesn't seal properly. I've had to straighten mine in my press occasionally.
