I am using different heads on my 330. I bought a set of 7a and they came bear. I was not aware that they had rotators from the factory until recently reading it on this site. My heads are already assembled on the engine. I called mondello they say I have there sk-240-s spring kit. Which they say I don't need to use any shims or rotators to achieve proper installation with this kit. Can anyone confirm this?

Mondello should be able to give you an installed height for the springs. You will have to try to check one on the head or maybe remove one intake and one exhaust spring and check them. That is the ONLY way to verify it for certain.


Did you have a machine shop assemble the heads ? If so call them and ask if they checked the spring installed heights and pressures like they should have.

I got a hold of a tool today and checked the spring pressure looks like I'm in good shape here.
