Why in the hell are certain parts restricted?

I can't order NGK 5670-8 spark plugs, bought them before. I can't order the early turkey tray but I can order the late turkey tray, what the hell is the difference shipping wise from the US? I can use either with these heads being that the cross over is filled. No, I cannot use composite intake gaskets, head were milled to 55cc and the intake surface was shaved already.and the turkey tray will barely fit in.

I believe it could be that certain suppliers will not ship to Canada due to brokerage fees they have to deal with. Or you may be able to get those parts directly from a supplier in Canada that the distributor/manufacturer in the US may have an agreement with. Did you know you cannot buy a new Harley in th US if you are Canadian? Used is OK.

If your really needing these parts have them shipped to a member here in the U.S. who will re-package them and forward them to you. I've done this a few times for ebay sales that won't ship to Canada. More shipping costs, but at least you'll get them. John

This is actually Summit, I may have to ask them why? The spark plug I can see, maybe being a racing plug or as an ignitor for a bomb but a turkey tray?

Maybe Canadians consider 403 bombs as well because of the windowed mains and flimsy cylinder walls.

......sorry, had to do it!

NAFTA was a joke, pretty much Brian Mulruney giving away everything not nailed down in Canada.

I wanted to order the NGK plugs as well but they would not ship them to Canada. They also wouldn't ship a couple cases of oil or a battery for our G8.
You can get NGK plugs from Dorman Parts Canada , They will ship.
I now purchase parts at Performance Improvements since out dollar is low, they try to match summit/jegs price.

If you can't get the parts from Summit or Jegs shipped to Canada you might try RockAuto. I've used them before for parts on my 03 Ford F150 and 11 Ford Flex. Decent customer service and plenty of parts.

I found my NGK spark plugs and the Felpro Intake gaskets on that site. Rock Auto also has been good to order from.

I use Parcel Donkey in Niagara Falls, NY. Drop shipping centre you can get anything shipped there then I drive down and pick it up. maybe there's something similar at the Saskatchewan border with the US?

Which plugs did you get from them, I only seen the NGK 4536 XR45 and the 7293 Iridium IX on the Dorman Parts Canada site.
I may purchase the 4536 with .06 gap.
Did you change the gap ?

Thanks
Eric

Get the XR45, they work great in a low compression Olds 350. My idle was smoother with them over the AC Delco. I am running super cold NGK 3354, 5670-8 racing plugs, I like to have spare plugs, they can break as I check them every now and then.

I have stacks of NGK 5670-8 and -9. granted most are used, but I have no problem getting them for a real good price, usually better than summit. I would also have no problem shipping them to you if you need any. let me know.

That -9 plug is super cold, I may take you up on a spare -8 plug.
