On start up and doesn’t change much after warming up rpm doesn’t change it much either I thought it should be about 30
i bought this motor used it is rebuilt and runs nice I guess it’s a real good one then.

Exactly, it should drop significantly at operating temperature. My stock 76 bottom end hits 75 psi cold. I would try another gauge and or a sender. And your motor is probably a 73 to 76 motor, same casting number.

I haven’t been able to actually road test this car yet. Ogden Chrome still has my bumpers. 15 weeks now but that’s another story. I ran it about an hour and the oil pressure came down to 40. Double checked with another guage and exactly the same.
Im fairly certain the block is a 70. Stamp on oil filler tube indicated 70. I will verify the number on the block just so I know
