Identity of oil pressure sending unit and flasher
Hi! Can anyone help identify the proper application of these oil pressure sending units? They are GM pieces but two different boxes with two different numbers. Only one number is showing up in my parts book but I'm not sure if the parts that are in the boxes are actually from the boxes. The one number is group 1-800 part 3815936. Online searches of this part number show me a "modern" oil pressure sending unit that appears to be from the 1960s and newer based on the blade type electrical connection. These have a nipple type electrical connection. The other box number is group 1-800 part 3751700. This number doesn't show up in my 1974 parts book. Again. Two parts that look identical in boxes with two different numbers. Not sure which number is right. Also have a flasher that's not in my 1974 parts book either. Photos of all are below. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The 3751700 oil pressure switch was used in the late 50s and early 60s on most GM cars. That part number was likely superseded by the time your 1974 parts book got printed. 3815936 is the later number, likely the part that superseded the first one. They're all pretty standard 4-7 psi turn-on switches.
