You can get this almost anywhere. A little is a lot, use it sparingly.

Thank you! And do I apply it to both sides of the pad?

I put a very thin coating on the distributor cam prior to installing the points. You don't want the stuff getting into the points contact surfaces.

And clean the points with contact or brake cleaner. Dirt n grease prematurely pits the point set.
Apply brake cleaner to a lint-free Kimberly Clark type cloth and pull it through the closed point set. Follow it by a dry wipe.
Always wipe the feeler gauge off with a lint-free cloth and brake cleaner.

Ok so I plan to start the car Friday. I visited the only auto parts store that's around me and they didn't even know what points are much less point lubricant. Is there anything else that I can use? I know I can order online but I really want to try to start the car this Friday. It's been 8 years and darn it I wanna drive it lol.
Thank you!

Go to your local NAPA store and ask for this:

I have used white lithium grease when I couldn't find anything else in the tool chest, seemed to work just fine.... Tedd

That's what I wound up using today. The white lithium grease specifically states that it is for distributor cams. Thanks everyone!
