FiTech issues

I had my Cutlass converted to FiTech fuel injection. The gas pedal is hard to push and feels stiff. It wants to resist, then all of a sudden you're past the part where it wants to stick and then you're going places. It makes it very hard to drive smoothly. Has anyone else had this kind of issue?

Stiff pedal

I had the same issue with my FiTech throttle body. My solution was to unhook the primary return spring which is wrapped around the primary throttle shaft. I found the secondary spring is strong enough to close both the primaries and the secondaries..

make a metal tab bolt it where the cable goes make a lock tab so it does not spin and raise the point the throttle cable pulls from. It gives it leverage and helps greatly. Did this on my sniper EFI. To better explain pulling a stump is hard as its much lower pulling from the top of the tree and making it move is easier.
