Exhaust leak from manifold

What’s up everyone I have a 72 cutlass 350 rocket k My headers have been leaking for a while but I was getting a new exhaust system and. I thought it came with headers but it didn’t so just wondering how I should fix it, seal the leak on the headers or get new ones. Everything is stock accept for the new exhaust and drag shocks on the back by the way it’s flowmaster American thunder

Do you have stock manifolds or aftermarket headers?

Drag shocks on the back, eh? Those are most effective when used on the front.

As to your post title and question, do you have manifolds or headers? You used both terms. I suppose either way your best bet is to replace the gaskets.

Still confused! Do you have headers or OE exhaust manifolds?

Either way you should just replace the gasket. IMHO you should get the cheapie FelPro gaskets. I've tried to use expensive gaskets with locking bolts and my header gaskets always blow after about a year. It's not worth it to use the expensive stuff.

Can you post a picture of your headers/manifolds?

With some of the cheaper headers; double gaskets are necessary against the heads to seal and either copper or aluminum collector gaskets.
