Does anyone have any experience with Egge reproduction pistons for a 10.5:1 1967 330?

And if not the Egge pistons, what pistons to keep the higher compression ratio?

No experience with that particular application, but I have done a couple of other Olds engines. Egge pistons are manufactured "in house" and I've found them to match the original specs exactly.

Well, by the time I started researching the shop rebuilding the engine had already purchased some - I don't know exactly which kind or from who.

I am probably being too persnickety and controlling (which comes from a lack of confidence), but whatever the shop used is hopefully right. DAMN I wish I could perform that kind of work; maybe one day.

Well, ask to have a look at the part number/specs. on the reciept that they got when they purchased the pistons. There should be something there to tell you what you have.
