74 olds 350 belt/pulley alignment issues

Please help guys! I've got a 74 olds 350 that I recently totally rebuild. I'am only days away from starting it for the first time but I have 2 problems. First, I can't find the ignition key. I'm thinking the only solutions are getting a locksmith out to my house or go to a GM dealer and hope n pray. Second problem is I cant seem to align my p/s pump correctly. I know there are some spacers off the h2o pump bolts but I still cant get it aligned with the other pulleys. I've included some pics of my brackets and such. If anyone has a similiar bracket setup or has a better idea about a missing key please chim in.
Thanks
Denny

There are TWO spacers between the pump bracket and the block, one on the lower stud on the front cover, as you've shown. The second goes between the side of the block and the bracket that's bolted to the bottom rear of the pump.

As for the key, you can disassemble the steering column and remove the lock cylinder. There's a four character code stamped on the cylinder. Any GM dealer (or locksmith) can punch a new key from that code. This website shows you how to remove the lock cylinder:

Well I ran to my local junkyard today and found the spacer to go from block to brkt. I put it in but still have issues. After further investigation Iam certain I have the wrong h2o pump/accesry pulley setup. I did have an extra "donor motor" when assblying this one. I foolishly threw out all the stuff I didnt need. Ya I know hard leason to learn. I read on some other posts about part numbers on the pulleys, but cant locate numbers on all pulleys. I know I have the 6.1" h2o pump. Can pulleys be identified by measuring width or thickness?

There should be numbers and letters stamped onto the pulleys. This will help identify them.

Ok here are the letters stamped on the pulleys
h2o pump/fan- KE S, measures 5.7" wide by 3.7" long, 3 groove
crank- KS P, measures 7.875" wide by 2.05 long, 3 groove
power str-KA M, measures 6.5" wide by 1.4" long 2 groove
altntr- no markings, measures 2.6: wide by .7" long 1 groove
It is a 74 350, 395558 2 with the first digit on oil fill tube a 4. When I bought it there wasnt an A/C comprsr or brckts for one.

The big thing is you need to match the pulleys to the water pump. That is most likely where the issue lies. Since you have the p/s pump bolted up you know that's on correctly or the lower bolt wouldn't go in so you need to get the other two pulleys figured out the get the belts lined up properly.

Ok, just by luck I stumbled across a lilttle bit of oldsmobile heaven. I took a different route while driving the other day because of some road construction. Out in the middle of nowhere there was a vacant lot with over 20 cutlasses. I was able to track down the owner and we got my bracket issue figured out. He pieced together everything I needed!
