403 in a G body

Helping a friend with a 403 going to put it in a 83 cutlass supreme. Will a big block oil pan fit with this combo in the chassis or should we use the small block pan. Also looking for head bolts for 403 need the few ones with the studs on the top side.

There is no benefit with a big block pan as they are the same capacity.

To answer the OP's question, all factory Olds pans interchange and fit the chassis. The BBO pan has one advantage over the SBO pan - it has an internal baffle at the sump. Will you notice any difference from this? Unlikely.

Upper is SBO, lower is BBO.

Have 2 big block pans to chose from but no small block pan. Thanks for the info. I was worried about an interference fit and whether I should look for a small block pan.

Use the BBO pan, it is a better pan. It will actually have enough power to slosh the oil around with the 403.
