Moderater help needed- buddy can't reset password

Moderater help needed- buddy can't reset password
Can anyone help this get resolved??....have a buddy that is trying to RESET his password for this site.
He says the system sends him the re-set email but then NEVER SENDS THE PASSWORD EMAIL.
I can put you in touch with him, pm you his posting name, etc
